Requirements for TESOL: Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages Endorsement
Through this program, licensed teachers can qualify for the endorsement through the Ohio Department of Education. Students who are not licensed teachers may also complete this program, but will not be able to qualify for the ODE endorsement or any other ODE license. Passing score on OAE Licensure Test required for licensure.

To add the endorsement, take the following courses (18 Credit Hours):

EDUC 634 The Role of the ESL Teacher in Co-Teaching and Collaboration (1)

EDUC 638 TESOL Practicum (2)
EDUC 639 Practicum Seminar (1)
ENGL 503 Language Structure and Usage (3)

If you choose, you can complete the Master of Arts in Education by taking the following ONLINE courses (12 Credit Hours)
