With an Adolescent and Young Adult License for grades seven through twelve, you will be prepared to:

• Teach your selected content area with confidence whether you specialize in mathematics, language arts, science, or social studies
• Create engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for secondary students
• Support diverse learners through instructional strategies, assessment practices, and classroom management techniques
• Contribute to academic growth and college and career preparation for students in grades seven through twelve
• Serve as a mentor, advisor, and positive influence in a secondary school setting

CAREER OUTCOMES & ROLES

Graduates of this licensure track may pursue roles such as:

• Secondary school teacher in grades seven through twelve for your chosen content area
