Janelle Guentter DNP, RN

Janelle has been a practicing nurse for over thirty years. She completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Chatham University with an emphasis on simulation. Her Master of Science in Nursing was completed with an emphasis on clinical mentoring strategies and the development of mentoring resources. She maintains a pediatric certification in her area of specialty. She practices in mother/infant care with interests in Appalachian and immigrant health issues. Janelle also works to facilitate successful outcomes for adult learners completing courses with the RN-BSN degree completion program. She works with community members teaching cardiopulmonary resuscitation to lay providers. Janelle serves as a volunteer with local organizations such as 4-H, Rotary, local schools, church, and the Alfred Carr center.
