Nancy E. Mast, age 93, of Columbus, passed away Friday, August 7, 2026. Nancy retired in 1999 after 21 years with the Insurance Circle. Prior to that she was a high school speech and English teacher.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, William W. and Ruth E. Nolin, and by her husband, Gene H. Mast, whom she married in 1954. Nancy is also preceded in death by her daughters Deborah R. Mast and Becka Mast; sister Ruth L. Nolin; brothers Kenneth E (Rosella) Nolin, Wallace H. (Kathleen) Nolin, and William N. Hughes; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Nancy was a graduate of Schutz American School of Missionaries’ Children, Asyut, Egypt, 1949: Vashon High School, Vashon Island, Washington, 1950; Muskingum College, BA Degree, New Concord, Ohio, 1954.

Nancy was a member of Glen Echo Presbyterian Church from 1962 to 2000, where her husband was pastor. During her husband’s ministry, she was especially privileged to share her love of music in chancel and children’s choirs.

When her husband retired, they attended Central College Presbyterian Church until his death in 2008. Afterwards, she came back to Glen Echo and has been there ever since. She was a devoted servant of the Lord Jesus Christ and served in many ways. Also active in Glen Echo Presbyterian Women’s Association. Nancy continued to work for several years part time at the Insurance Circle after retirement.
