Lola S. Denny, 66, of West Lafayette, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025.  She was born May 10, 1959, in Farmington, OH, to the late Clarence and Dorothy (Miller) Sharp.

Lola graduated from Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio.  On June 4, 1978, she married David Denny, and he preceded her in death in August 2021. Lola served by David’s side as he pastored for over 40 years.

Lola was a dedicated teacher and was especially passionate about the field of special education.  She enjoyed quilting and was an accomplished pianist.

Surviving are her children Bobbi (Darren) Wells of West Lafayette, IN, David Andrew (Jessica) Denny of Rocky Mount, VA, grandchildren Emma and Caleb Wells, David Alexander and Anna Denny.

Also surviving are her siblings Carol (Doug) Sole of Southington, OH, and Clarence “CJ” (Kimberly) Sharp of Forsyth, GA.
