ONLINE MIDDLE CHILDHOOD GENERALIST ENDORSEMENT

Enhance your teaching credentials with the Middle Childhood Generalist Endorsement 100% online with Muskingum University. Designed for educators with a Middle Childhood (4–9) license, this endorsement lets you add in one or two content areas for grades 4-6.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

  • This endorsement is for licensed teachers holding a Middle Childhood (4–9) license
  • You may complete the endorsement in one or two content areas (math, science, social studies, or language arts)
  • Coursework is delivered fully online, aligning with your schedule
  • Additional field hours are required to satisfy endorsement standards

  • Teach in grades 4–6 in your chosen content area (math, science, social studies, or language arts)
  • Teach a self-contained classroom in grades 4-6 when adding two additional content areas
  • Enhance your mastery in content-specific pedagogy and instructional strategies
  • Be better equipped to serve as a grade-level leader or content coach
  • Build toward completing the full MAE by expanding into additional content licensures
