Students will demonstrate proficiency in using CAD software (Fusion360 & Onshape) to create 2D and 3D models, including parts and assemblies.
Students will interpret and produce industry-standard drawings, incorporating proper technical symbols, notations, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Students will apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to complete design tasks and solve real-world engineering challenges through digital modeling.
Students will communicate design concepts effectively through visual representation and written documentation aligning with industry-standards.
Students will understand the role of CAD and engineering drawings in the context of engineering design, manufacturing, and professional certification pathways.
