Mary Brown (nee Eidel) age 88, beloved wife of Tom Brown for 63 years. Loving mother of Michael Brown (Lorie) and Virginia Birkhimer. Adoring grandmother of Logan, Jennifer, Jessica (Dane), and Cassidy and great-grandmother of Hayden and Levi. Dear sister of Carol Foltz (Larry). Mary was a beloved special education teacher whose wisdom, kindness, and great sense of humor touched the lives of all who knew her. She dedicated her career to helping students with special needs, always going above and beyond to ensure they felt seen, valued, and supported. Outside the classroom, Mary was an active member of the Westlake United Methodist Church, where she sang in the church choir and was part of several traveling singing groups. Her love for music and her church community were central to her life, and she shared her voice and spirit with others whenever she could. Mary’s generosity, warmth, and unwavering desire to help people made her known as one of the nicest, most compassionate individuals anyone could ever meet. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of working with her or crossing her path.
