Jeanne Thorne (n e Cuny), 81, of Manasquan NJ, formerly of Rutherford and Harrington Park, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 10, 2025. Jeanne was a proud graduate of Muskingum University in Ohio and retired from Chase Mellon, where she worked as a computer programmer. In retirement, she found joy in quilting, playing Bridge, walking her beloved dog Sammie, and entertaining family in her home. Above all, she cherished spending time with her grandchildren. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Thorne (1997), and the devoted mother of Karen and her husband Andrew Soukup, and Laura and her husband Dan Weinstein. Jeanne was a cherished grandmother to Hannah, Julia, Kate, Emily, and Drew. She is also survived by her dear brothers Donald Cuny and his partner Joanie Sapienza, Jay Cuny and his wife Margaret, and her sister-in-law Barbara Cuny. She was predeceased by her brother Robert Cuny.
