Interdisciplinary Accessibility:

  • The DATA courses are designed to be accessible to students without prior advanced mathematics or computer science knowledge. 
  • Some foundational data analytics content has been integrated into MATH 140, Practical Statistics. 
  • This minor is open to all majors. 

Professional Development:

  • Through completion of the DATA 315, Data Analytics course students will have the opportunity to earn digital badges and a certification in Data Analytics. 
  • These certifications are optional but encouraged to enhance professional portfolios.
