Merle Edgar Heasley, age 86 of Englewood, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a graduate of Muskingum College. Merle had worked at Gulf Oil and later retired from Century Toro with over 35 years of service. After retirement, he worked for several years in the produce department at Kroger.He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law: Angie (David) Wright, Cherie (Charlie) Goubeaux, grandchildren: Nathan, Emma and Brady Wright, Morgan (Brandon) Wirrig, Brett (Ashley), Madison and Jake Goubeaux, great grandson: Peyton, sister: Donna Downing, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife: Judith Jean (Schaffer) Heasley, parents: Charles and Margaret (Jordan) Heasley and 15 brother and sisters.
