PROGRAM STRUCTURE

  • Designed for educators holding a Pre-K certificate, special certificate, early childhood certificate, or intervention specialist license.
  • Coursework delivered fully online; flexible pacing for working teachers.
  • Combines special education foundations, instructional and assessment practices for young children, and clinical practice. 
  • Students complete required field/clinical hours in their local setting.

  • Support children from ages 3-5 with developmental and learning differences
  • Serve in inclusive early childhood settings as a special needs practitioner
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and specialists to create developmentally appropriate interventions
  • Lead early intervention programs or preschool special education initiatives
