On Friday, March 22, from 1:00 pm  to 4:00 pm, in the library, Muskingum University will host a Propel Ohio Regional Meeting. Propel is a collegiate leadership program that is co-sponsored by Sen. Sherrod Brown’s office and Campus Compact.

The theme of this regional conference is childhood poverty. This topic will be addressed from several different angles: education, health care, child care, and food insecurity. But most of all the program will encourage our students to be not only leaders in the future, but also difference makers right now. The program will consist of a Q&A with an expert panel, breakout sessions, and an Involvement Fair, all of which will outline the ways our students can get involved in their communities.
 

Free and open to the public but registration is encouraged.
