Pianist Harsha Abeyratne will present his solo recital to be played in late October at the prestigious Carnegie Hall (Weil Recital Hall) in New York. His program will feature Beethoven’s “Appassionata” Sonata as well as works by Granados, Liszt, Chopin, and Debussy. He has played at venues in China, Sri Lanka, Italy, and England as well as universities across the United States. He has also collaborated with world recognized artists. At Muskingum, he teaches piano, group piano, music theory, and aural skills, coordinates performance seminar, and  performs with both faculty and students.
