Alumni & Friends Dinner Dance Sunset Cruise

Join President Susan Hasseler and Dr. Ken Hasseler in St. Petersburg, Florida on April 15, 2018 for a magical sunset dinner cruise for Muskingum alumni and friends.

Enjoy a two-and-a-half-hour cruise, dining, dancing, and a spectacular Florida sunset from aboard the StarLite Sapphire Dining Yacht. You’ll be visiting with your fellow Muskies amidst soft breezes and changing waterfront views!

The cruise is co-sponsored by Maureen McCauley Johnson ’64 and her brother W. Keith McCauley, friend of the University.

6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Cruising from St. Petersburg

Cost: $35 per person. Includes appetizer, dinner (ten entrees from which to choose), salad, beverages, and gratuity.

Directions: HEADING NORTH ON HIGHWAY 275:
From the Skyway Bridge, take Exit 17 (Old Exit 4) – Pinellas Bayway (Toll). Go west on the Pinellas Bayway, there is a $.50 toll per car, turn right on Gulf Boulevard, go North through 7 traffic lights, at the 8th light turn right at 75th Avenue, go East over the causeway, just after the drawbridge there is a right turn lane into the dock parking lot.
HEADING SOUTH ON HIGHWAY 275:
From North Pinellas County or Tampa: Take Exit 23B (Old Exit 11) – 5th Avenue North. Turn right on 5th Avenue North, follow it to 66th Street. Turn left on 66th Street and stay in right lane. It will continue to bear right and turn into Pasadena Avenue (SR 693), follow Pasadena Avenue South to the Corey Causeway. You’ll see the dock on your left, just before the drawbridge.
FROM NORTH BEACHES:
Take Gulf Boulevard, South, if you’re coming through Treasure Island, follow Blind Pass Road South to St. Pete Beach, turn left at the light for 75th Avenue, go over the causeway, just after the drawbridge there is a right turn lane into the dock parking lot.
Parking: Resort casual to dressy casual attire is recommended. For men, slacks and a collared shirt; for women slacks, skirt, or dress. We request no tank tops, swim suits or swim cover-ups. Be sure to bring along a light jacket as it may get a bit breezy on the outer decks.

Once on board the Starlight Sapphire Dining Yacht: Choose one of the following entrees: Chicken Sapphire, The Chef’s Creation, StarLite Chicken Spinachi, Vegetarian Harvest, Stuffed Shrimp, Sea Scallops, From the Sea, Surf and Turf, New Zealand Rack of Lamb or Chateaubriand. Appetizer, classic Caesar Salad, water, iced tea, coffee and gratuity included. Cash bar available.
