Pre-School Programs

Hours Of Service
School Year (August through June):    Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m.-5:15 p.m.
Summer Session (June through August): Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m.-5:15 p.m.

The Preschool Program is for children 3 years old who are potty trained up to 5 years of age. The program offers a choice of Full Day, Half Day (a.m. 4 hours or less), or 2 ½ Hour Preschool.

The Center has a developmentally appropriate, integrated curriculum. There are planned activities to meet the developmental needs and interests of the whole child (physical, social, cognitive, emotional, and creative expression).

Full day children have a nap/rest time. Each full day child has his/her own cot for resting.

A daily snack in the morning and afternoon is served. Full day children need to pack a balanced lunch.

The MUCCD Preschool is located in room #230 in Cambridge Hall and has a ratio of 1 adult to 9 children in the preschool classroom.

The purpose of this program is to provide a safe and caring environment for school age children before and after school. Activities are planned to provide many choices for the children, including but not limited to indoor and outdoor physical activities, literacy and creative activities, games, and computer activities are available. Quiet spaces for reading, doing homework, or listening to music are also part of the room environment. An afternoon snack is provided for all children in the program.

Public School Closings

MUCCD will accommodate 14 school age children on dates that the public school is closed, but MUCCD is open, and the child has been preregistered for those dates. The day MUST be paid for at the time that you request a space for your child.
