Jessica Turner '09

Turner recently completed her Ph.D. at West Virginia University. Since graduating from Muskingum with a major in conservation science, Turner has spent time studying climate change in Alaska, theoretical ecology funded by the Department of Defense, and the conservation of American ginseng in Appalachia.

Turner is now working as a “Treeologist” at The Morton Arboretum outside of Chicago, where she “supports the Arboretum's mission and vision to be the leading center of tree expertise by developing, communicating and sharing expert knowledge about trees.”
