New Ohio Leaders

Three Muskingum University students are among a select group of 40 chosen to participate in the NEW Leadership Ohio experience during the summer of 2019.

Senior English major Jacquelyn Burge, first-year history major Lorene Kelley, and sophomore history major Zoey Stenson will participate in the bi-partisan program designed to prepare college women for political and public leadership.

They will experience an intensive residential institute hosted by the John Glenn College of Public Affairs and Department of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at The Ohio State University.

Program highlights include opportunities to engage with current political leaders, form peer networks, and explore a variety of political issues.
