Erik Allbright just graduated in May of 2017 with a double major in physics and engineering science, but he is already well-established in a career in his field of study. He is working as a Utility engineer for The Thrasher Group, Inc. In his role, he focuses on water treatment and wastewater treatment plants – the piping, fluid mechanics of water and wastewater, and all of the specifications, design and calculations that go into the treatment plants.
Allbright, who was involved in the fraternity Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia while as a student, says, “Muskingum helped give me the fundamental understanding and knowledge of teamwork, applying what I have learned to the real world, and understanding how to communicate effectively to become a role model and a leader.”
Allbright adds that smaller classes allowed for individualized learning and helped him to understand the subject matter better.
Allbright currently lives and works in his hometown of Point Pleasant, West Virginia. He is remodeling a home and was just married in December (2017).
