Daniel Barr, a history and sociology major, spent a summer interning in the Public Relations Office. The Sarahsville, Ohio native, who will graduate in 2016, came to Muskingum after talking to several high school teachers who received their bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Muskingum.
Daniel, who is involved in Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, a music fraternity, and sings in the Concert Choir, spent one summer in the Public Relations Office digitally archiving prints and negatives. He designed a system to catalog the photos by event, photo type, and academic year. Over the course of the summer, Daniel archived photos from about 120 different events.
Daniel is most thankful for “Muskingum's caring faculty. They have always respected me as a student and a person, trying their best to make me the best I can be.”
Daniel plans to attend law school after leaving Muskingum.
