ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF ECONOMICS

The Department of Economics, Accounting, and Business at Muskingum University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Economics beginning Fall 2020.   The successful candidate will have the ability to teach introductory and upper-level courses in economics, including principles of micro- and macroeconomics and money and banking.  We are particularly interested in candidates with an ability and interest in teaching lower-level finance courses as part of our economics, business management, accounting, and marketing bachelor’s degree programs.  Guiding students as an academic advisor, and as a mentor for applied practica and internships are expected faculty roles within the Muskingum educational experience.   In addition, the successful candidate will maintain an active program of scholarship and engage in service to the University.
