Assistant Director of Admission Operations (Communication & Outreach)
Muskingum University invites applications for an Assistant Director of Admission Operations - Communication & Outreach. Overseeing digital and print messaging, text campaigns, mailings, and off-campus event coordination materials, this role supports all populations served by the University, including undergraduate, graduate, in-person, and online programs. As the needs of Academic Operations evolve, the specific duties of this position may be adjusted.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement communication flows to prospective students using email, text, print, and digital channels.
- Coordinate outreach materials and correspondence for off-campus recruitment activities.
- Collaborate with the Associate Director of Admission Operations to align communication strategy with institutional goals.
- Maintain message schedules and communication calendar across audiences.
- Oversee inventory, design coordination, and fulfillment of print and digital outreach.
- Assist with audience segmentation and message targeting within the CRM.
- Support staff training on communication-related CRM tools and processes.
- Track and report communication campaign performance.
- Serve on University committees as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of relevant experience required.
- Experience in communication strategy, marketing, or admissions outreach.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as (e.g., Slate) is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication.
- Ability to prioritize assignments, meet deadlines, anticipate workflow, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work recruitment events or evening/weekend programs as needed.
