Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Meghan Wynne received a B.S. in Biology from Penn State in 1995 and an MFA in Fiction Writing from Ohio State in 2001. She has taught at Muskingum since 2002. Three times she has won an Individual Excellence Grant from the Ohio Arts Council for her fiction. Her short-stories have been published in such journals as The Sun, Story Quarterly, and the Southern Indiana Review. Recently she has completed a novel. Courses taught include Intro to Creative Writing, Intro to Literature, African American Literature, Language: Structure and Usage, Advanced Writing, and Composition. She loves writing sentences and paragraphs and helping students to do the same: to write with skill, confidence, and even joy.
