Bio

Dr. Annasiwatta’s research interests span the areas of modeling and simulation, particularly hysteresis modeling and simulation, controls and mechatronics. His current work focus on describing hysteresis behavior of fundamental property of Vanadium Dioxide thin films and derive other properties from that eliminating the needs of finding separate models for the different properties.
He has over 10 years of experience in both classroom and laboratory teaching for engineering undergraduates. His teaching interests and experience are in areas of Dynamics and Controls, Mechatronics, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, and Automation. His passion and experience are to teach Engineering students material related to areas of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and prepare them to face broader areas with interdisciplinary knowledge.
