COVID-19 Reporting

Muskingum University has established robust COVID-19 diagnosis and response protocols in collaboration with the Zanesville-Muskingum County Health Department (ZMCHD) and the Genesis Healthcare System. These protocols include regular screening of all students and employees, COVID-19 testing, contact tracing, and the availability of appropriate health-related isolation and quarantine spaces following ZMCHD Guidelines. 

The COVID-19 information below is a source of information to provide updates on data specifically related to the campus community. Please note, the University does not release specific health-related information about any individuals on campus.

COVID-19 reporting has concluded for the fall semester. 

The University will resume Spring Semester reporting every Friday beginning on Jan. 22.

 


 

Think you may have been exposed?

If you are a student and think you may have been exposed to COVID-19, contact the University’s Wellness Center and guidance on next steps will be provided. Faculty and staff should contact Human Resources. In the meantime, keep track of your symptoms. If you have an emergency warning sign (including trouble breathing), get emergency medical care immediately.
