Athletic Training

Our Athletic Training program prepares students for careers in a variety of Athletic Training settings including traditional setting jobs at the college/university level, outreach clinics, public schools, or in many emerging settings like occupational/industrial settings, the fine arts, the military, and physician extenders.

Outcomes

Muskingum's Athletic Training program prepares you for careers in a variety of Athletic Training settings including the college/university level, outreach clinics, public schools, occupational/industrial environments, the fine arts, and professional rodeo.

Our Athletic Training graduates are also well-prepared to enter an advanced degree program in fields such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, physician's assistant, or other health-related professions.

Muskingum University is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).  The program has been placed on Probation as of February 11, 2020, by the CAATE, 6850 Austin Center Blvd., Suite 100, Austin, TX 78731-3101.
