- Prizes will be released to winners only. Winners are required to present a valid photo ID in order to pick up any prize. Additionally, all winners are required to sign a Winner’s Release relieving WMCO from any and all liability with respect to the receipt and/or use of the prize. Any person who refuses to sign the release will forfeit the contest prize.
- Station reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for all contests and giveaways. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. No substitution, transfer or assignment of prizes is allowed.
- Prizes not claimed within 30 days of being awarded, or in the case of a time sensitive prize, within its period of usability, shall be considered forfeited and will become property of WMCO. Such prize may be disposed of at the discretion of WMCO.
- WMCO shall be the sole arbiters in all matters relating to the contest and the interpretation of contest rules. The decisions of WMCO shall be final. Entry into station contests constitutes agreement by contestant to abide by these rules, as well as any other specific contest rules established by WMCO.
-
By participating in this contest, each contestant hereby consents to WMCO using the contestant's name, voice, likeness, biographical information, his/her participation in the contest, and the substance of the contestant's telephone call for on-air broadcast and for promotional purposes. Contestant agrees that no additional compensation will be paid for such usage.
Odds of Winning/Misc.
- Odds of winning depend on the number of correct and/or eligible entries received and on the particular type of contest being run.
- Complete contest rules are available at the Secretary’s Office, located on the 1st floor of Phillip and Betsey Caldwell Hall on the Muskingum University campus at 163 Stormont Street, New Concord, Ohio 43762, or during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- WMCO contests are subject to all applicable laws and regulations and are void where prohibited. WMCO accepts no responsibility of liability in connection with any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by or resulting from (a) participation in the contest and/or (b) the acceptance, possession and/or use of any prize awarded hereunder.
- WMCO reserves the right to change, alter or modify these rules at any time with or without written notice. These are general contest rules, and rules for individual contests may vary. To the extent that any individual contest rules differ from the rules set forth herein, the individual contest rules will govern and control.
- WMCO does not foresee any tie-breakers due to there only being one listener phone line to the studio. On-Air DJ(s) is/are responsible for checking the voice mail on the 740-826-8907 phone after an incorrect answer from a live call. In the event of a tie-breaker, WMCO will pose an alternative trivia question and determine the winner by the first correct answer.
- WMCO reserves the right to end or stop any contest at any time and for any reason. Questions and/or concerns may be addressed to the WMCO station manager: Lisa Marshall, c/o WMCO, Caldwell Hall, 163 Stormont Street, New Concord, Ohio, 43762 or wmco@muskingum.edu.
