Academic
Requirements:
Students must meet the following requirements in order
to be considered for membership in Psi Chi. Applicants will be notified
as to whether or not they meet the requirements as soon as possible.
This is the first step to becoming a member.
- Must have completed three
semesters of college.
- Must have completed nine
semester hours of psychology-related courses.
- (a psychology related course includes neuroscience, early childhood,
etc.).
- Must have a minimum GPA of
3.0 in psychology-related courses (see above).
- Must have a minimum
cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Must rank in the upper 35%
of his/her class.
Any
questions about the application procedure should be addressed to the
club president (Lopa Paul). Psi Chi is a great way to learn more about
the field of psychology and to get involved in fun activities with
other students throughout the year. Any student, however, can
participate in our events by becoming involved with our Psychology
Club. There are no requirements to become a member of Psychology Club,
and meetings take place in conjunction with Psi Chi.
