Digital Media Design

About the Major

The major in Digital Media Design (DMD) at Muskingum began in Fall 2007. As an interdisciplinary major, it consists of many courses that were already in the existing curriculum, but also incorporated newly designed courses, such as Visual Communication (DMD 300) and Principles of Interactive Design (DMD 400). Additionally, new courses common to most academic majors were introduced, such as the DMD Internship (DMD 399) and the capstone experience, Seminar in Digital Media (DMD 495).

This site contains examples of the creative work that DMD students do--from work assigned in class, to internships and capstone projects. If you are interested in becoming a part of this program, contact us to learn more.
