First Circle
First Circle, a magazine dedicated to literature and the arts, is an annual student publication of Muskingum College. Submissions are accepted year round at the English Department, Cambridge Hall, Muskingum College, New Concord, OH, 43762. First Circle publishes the work of students, faculty, alumni, and others. First Circle does not accept responsibility for submitted materials; materials are returned if submitted with a self-addressed stamped envelope.
In addition, submissions can be turned in throughout the year to Dr. Varley or any of the editors. There will be two submission deadlines for the 2006-2007 issue of First Circle. The deadline for the first round of submissions will be in December 2006. The deadline for the second round of submissions will be in January 2007. When submitting works, please include a cover page with your name, campus contact information including email address, and the titles of the works submitted. Do not put your name on the works themselves.
