Assessment - Learning and Study Strategies Inventory (LASSI) The Learning and Study Strategies Inventory (LASSI), developed by Claire Weinstein, David Palmer, and Ann Schulte, "is designed to gather information about learning and study practices and attitudes" based on self-reporting on "77 statements related to learning and studying" (Weinstein, Palmer, and Schulte, 1987). LASSI provides assessment in ten learning and studying areas:
The LASSI User's Manual includes information about development of the assessment tool, administration and scoring, results of pilot studies, how to interpret scores in each of the ten areas, and suggestions for improving student skills in areas of weakness.
