Israeli airstrikes Monday in Gaza killed 11 people and wounded 130 , and the U.S. State Department has issued a statement urging Israel to avoid civilian casualties and collateral damage.

The Saudi Interior Ministry captured terrorism suspects and seized weapons and bombs in raids in that country, according to a statement released Monday.

Bush rebuked Mahathir Mohamad, Malaysia's prime minister, on Monday for his saying last week that "Jews run the world." Bush characterized Mohamad's statements as "wrong and divisive."

Just three hours after learning she had been pregnant for nine months, an Australian woman, Carolyn Housell, 27, gave birth last weekend to a healthy baby boy.
