The Men's Chorus of Muskingum College, in conjunction with the Beta Lambda Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia (Men's National Music Fraternity), will present a concert Oct. 27 at 3 p.m. in Brown Chapel on the campus. The performance is free and open to the public.
A band will perform Saturday night, Oct. 19, at 8 p.m. in Kelley CoffeeHouse. The annual flu vaccination program will begin Oct. 23 and run through Nov. 8 or until the supply of vaccine is depleted. Students may report to the Wellness Center between 8 a.m. and noon Monday through Friday. Muskingum faculty and staff are welcome to purchase a flu shot for $8, payable at the Business Office. A talk on body image issues will be given in Kelley Coffee House at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24. The talk, "This Is What Feminism Looks Like," is free. An etiquette dinner is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 27, at 5 p.m. in the BOC. Since many organizations conduct interviews over a meal, it is important to learn good table manners. Muskingum students interested in a career in mathematics, the natural sciences, or engineering are invited to apply to the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program. The week ended with a dumpster-painting activity. If you are graduating this spring you may be eligible for the Ohio Regents Graduate/Professional Fellowship program. Contact the VPAA office for more information. A special art show is being hosted in the Louis Palmer Gallery from now until Nov. 4. The show is entitled "Hu Yichuan -- An Outstanding Chinese Artist." The English Honorary, Sigma Tau Delta, will meet on Wednesday, Oct. 23. The Halloween party will be on Friday, Oct. 25, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The Muskingum County Center for Seniors (at the Sunrise Center in Zanesville) is sponsoring a benefit luncheon Sunday, Oct. 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Bonepony Band will play at Kelley CoffeeHouse Oct. 25 at 8 p.m.
