NEW CONCORD, OHIO, October 30, 2004 - Muskingum College rushed for over 300 yards as a team en route to defeating Heidelberg College on Senior Day, 21-12.
Sophomore running back Steve Howard had career-high day with 31 rushes for 137 yards and one touchdown, while senior running back Trevor Cooper rushed eight times for 106 yards to help lead the offensive attack. Senior Muskie defensive back Mike Fowler scored his first career collegiate touchdown on a 40-yard interception return early in the first quarter to put the Muskies up 7-0. Defensively, junior Jesse Henestofel recorded a team-high nine stops, including registering one interception.
Muskingum (1-7, 1-6) next travels to Mount Union College on Saturday, November 6. Game time is slated for 1:30 p.m.
