There are also many restaurants, theatres, and shops within walking distance rom campus. Prince Edward Island has a hiking and mountain biking trail next to the campus, as well as National Park beaches and world famous golf courses a short drive away. The winders are very cold, however, and warm clothing such as parkas, waterproof boots, and thermal underwear are necessities.
