There are two different International Orientations. For
new students coming for the Fall Semester, they should attend
the August Orientation. For new students coming in the Spring
Semester, they should attend the January Orientation.
For new students, it is strongly encouraged that you attend
orientation, look through the Incoming Student Page and
the International Student Handbook, and ask any questions that you

folder that you receive with your residence keys for the
most updated schedule.
2015 International Student Orientation Schedule
New International Student Orientation will be from August 22nd-August 28th and there is a $100 fee for this program. Four-year degree seeking students (those on an F-1 student visa) are required to attend and pay the fee. Exchange students (those on a J-1 student visa) can choose to attend and pay the fee or choose to arrive on August 29th. They are strongly encouraged to attend orientation.
All students participating in the New International Student Orientation should arrive at the Port Columbus International Airport (code CMH) on either August 20th or August 21st and email Valerie (firstname.lastname@example.org) by August 7th to tell her of the arrival information so a Muskingum University van can meet you at the airport.

August 22- Columbus Trip
August 23- Technology Session, Community Picnic
August 24- Information Sessions, Student ID card, pay bills, ESL Placement (TA Training)
August 25- Amish Trip (TA Training)
August 26- Information Sessions, Bowling with Muskies
August 27- Information Sessions, New Concord Scavenger Hunt
August 28- Wellness Tour, Domestic Student Move-In, All-Student Programming
