ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF MANAGEMENT: HEALTHCARE SPECIALIZATION

The Department of Economics, Accounting, and Business at Muskingum University invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Management with renewable appointment, beginning Fall 2020.    This is an opportunity for a dynamic and creative individual to serve our business majors and expanding Healthcare Administration programs.  

The successful candidate will teach a selection of courses in business management, which could include organizational management, human resources, information systems, and business ethics, and will contribute to the Healthcare Administration major by teaching advanced coursework, developing community connections for internships and applied experiences, and career advising.   Guiding students as an academic advisor, and as a mentor for applied practica and internships, are expected faculty roles within the Muskingum educational experience.  

A Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA), Management, or related field is preferred; MBA or MS degree in management-related field will be considered.  Significant healthcare management experience is essential for this position.  The successful candidate will have strong collaborative skills, the ability to work within a team environment, and the capacity for visible involvement in the broader southeastern Ohio community as a business educator.
