Counselor at Muskingum University
Muskingum University invites applications for a Counselor for the Student Affairs team. Live on campus and serve as a primary contact for students seeking counseling services providing walk-in, scheduled, and emergency services. Serve as an integral member of the Student Affairs team providing coordination or support of efforts to maintain and enhance student success.
A Master's Degree in Counseling and Ohio licensure is required. Excellent clinical, communication, planning, organizational and presentation skills; experience in a college setting and an understanding of small liberal arts residential campus a plus. Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend activities.
Competitive with access to institutional insurance and retirement plans. Remuneration includes furnished one bedroom apartment including local phone, campus cable, internet services and electricity. Housing arrangements are subject to change. This is a nine-month position paid over twelve months.

Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach Full-Time at Muskingum University
Muskingum University invites applications in the department of intercollegiate athletics for the full time position of Head Men's Lacrosse Coach. Muskingum University is a Division III member of the NCAA and a member of the Ohio Athletic Conference. The successful candidate is responsible for the development, leadership and administration of the men's lacrosse program. Responsibilities will include the recruitment and retention of student-athletes, scheduling, purchasing of equipment, inventories, making all travel and lodging arrangements, monitoring and nurturing student-athlete's academic and personal progress, and organization of the total program.
Position reports directly to the Director of Athletics and will include a secondary assignment dependent upon the successful candidate's credentials and expertise. Possible assignments would be athletic administration, teaching within the Health and Physical Education Department, game management, etc.
A Bachelor's Degree is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
Candidates should possess a strong commitment to motivate, counsel, recruit, and to build a lacrosse program within the guidelines of Muskingum University, the NCAA, and the Ohio Athletic Conference.

Graduate Assistant in Athletics
Muskingum University invites applications for a Graduate Assistant in Athletics to serve as Assistant Volleyball Coach and Winter Sports Game Manager.
Position will serve as an assistant volleyball coach to aid the head coach in all designated areas. Will also serve as the winter sports game manager to assist the Director of Athletics and various head coaches in home game administrative responsibilities.
A Bachelor's Degree is required; preferably in education and acceptance into the Muskingum University Graduate Program.
Candidates should possess a strong collegiate background in volleyball; good organizational and management skills; operate under the philosophy and rules of the OAC and NCAA; good communication and telephone skills.
This position in a one year contract with a one year renewable contract and comes with a stipend, housing, meal plan when University is in session and tuition remission.

Director of Graduate and Continuing Studies
Responsibilities:
- Meets annual recruitment goals
- Monitors ongoing MISST recruitment
- Schedules MISST courses
- Serves as a liaison between GCS and MISST faculty
- Works with GCS marketing and recruitment staff to design and implement the MISST marketing and recruitment plan
- Develops networks between the MISST program and corporate contacts
- Establishes networks between MISST participants and significant business contacts
- Manages recruitment plan
- Develops corporate relationships which generate specialty MISST concentrations
- Develops corporate relationships which generate continuing studies opportunities
- Coordinates corporate mentors program
- Serves as liaison to corporate guest faculty and mentors

Graduate Assistant Softball
Muskingum University invites applications for a one-year with a one-year renewable contract (two years preferred) as a graduate assistant coach in Softball. The position is under the direct supervision of the Director of Athletics and the Head Softball Coach. Duties include assisting with all phases of a national caliber NCAA Division III softball program. The graduate assistant coach for softball also serves as a fall soccer game manager, plus any additional duties as assigned by the Director of Athletis. Successful candidate must have intercollegiate softball experience.
Ten month appointment which begins August 1, 2013. Position includes graduate school tuition remission for Muskingum University monthly stipend, room and board. Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree and qualify for admission into Muskingum Univrsity's graduate school.

Lead Preschool Teacher
The Muskingum University Center for Child Development seeks applicants for a full-time preschool teacher. Serve as primary lead teacher for preschool or school age children and to provide coordination and support of efforts to maintain and enhance programming for children, parents and university students in their experience.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field. Other levels of formal education and experience will also be considered.
