| Prayer Services |
Each weekday
morning at 9:15 a.m.
A daily service of prayer
in the Brown Lounge Prayer
Chapel provides an opportunity
for brief readings of Scriptures,
prayers for specific concerns
and for the entire college
community. |
Chapel |
Praise. Worship. Community.
The Muskingum Community
gathers in the Chapel every
Thursday during the 11 AM
Common Hour for Community
Worship. This short, informal,
and meaningful service uses
a variety of traditions and
expressions to worship God.
Students, faculty, and staff
participate. A listing of
all the Chapel services can
be found posted in Brown
Chapel.
Everyone is welcome! |
| Chapel Choir |
The
Chapel Choir, "Voices
of Vision," adds a joyful
noise to some Thursday Morning
Chapel services.
Under
the direction of Cassandra
McDonald, the twenty member
choir provides special
music during Chapel. One Chapel service
each semester highlights
the Choir as they "Jam for
Jesus!" Students, faculty
and staff participate, and
everyone is welcome to join.
One semester credit hour
is available for those whose
desire it.
The Chapel Choir has traveled
to local nursing homes to
sing. Their singing brings
joy to a number of faces
and many of the residents
sing right along with them.
Cassandra
McDonald is the director. |
| Total Praise |
Total Praise is the name
of our student-led Praise and Worship
Service held on different
Sunday and/or Monday evenings during the
year. It is an awesome time
of praise music, prayer,
and student testimonies!
We meet about every two
or three weeks, as the Holy
Spirit and classes allow. Dorothy can
give you the details and
the schedule for the next
one!
Everyone is welcome! |
