Muskingum College to donate proceeds from football home-opener to hurricane relief efforts

Muskingum College President Anne C. Steele has announced that the college will donate the proceeds from its September 3 football game with the College of Wooster to the American Red Cross to aid Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.

The game takes place at 7:00 p.m. on the new artificial playing surface at Sherman Field in McConagha Stadium on the campus. Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for non-Muskingum students. Visitors will also have an opportunity to make additional monetary donations to the Red Cross, if they would like to do so.
