Cell Phone Use

Muskingum University Library is aware of your need to stay in touch with family and friends. However, ringing cell phones and personal phone conversations in the library can be distracting to other library customers. Therefore, the following cell phone use policy is effective:

• Please be considerate of others studying and try not to use your cell phone in designated Quiet Study Areas on the second floor and basement.
• Calls should be made outside the Library.
• Please go to the entrance vestibule or outside patio when receiving an incoming call.
• Turn off the volume on your phone or use the vibrate feature.
