Although Muskingum University has several study abroad opportunities, you may not find the particular opportunity you are looking for. Listed below are links and information for non-exchange programs that other Muskingum students have taken part in. If you have additional questions, please contact Meri Linn McCollum at ext. 8127.

Across the Pond -- Across the Pond’s partner universities offer several thousand taught undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and offer degrees by research in a wide range of subject areas. You can study almost any subject that is offered at a university in the US either as a single major or combined with another subject. Across the Pond is the official US partner of several leading universities across the UK. All have degree programs that incorporate the most up-to-date subject developments, and are underpinned by world-class research and links with business and industry. You can study for a short a time as one semester or as long as four years - either as a full undergraduate, graduate or study abroad student.

AIFS (American Institute for Foreign Study) -- AIFS has more than 40 years of experience in organizing study abroad programs. They have helped more than one million participants realize their dream of international education. AIFS is recognized as the premium provider of study abroad programs. Choose from summer, semester or year-long programs in the following countries: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Canada, China, Czech Republic, England, France, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Russia, South Africa, and Spain.

AustraLearn -- AustraLearn, a non-profit organization, assists students in studying abroad in Australia and New Zealand at the college/university level. Students may study abroad for a semester or year or earn an entire degree at one of 28 major universities, participate in a specialty program, or complete a high quality internship. AustraLearn is the only non-profit specialist to offer students such an extensive range of program choices, unique on-site Program Introductions, pre-trip customer service coordination teams, on-site Resident Directors in both Australia and New Zealand, and complete scholarship and financial aid assistance.

Butler University -- It's an experience you'll take with you for the rest of your life. With IFSA-Butler, you'll choose from some of the most outstanding academic institutions in the world and completely immerse yourself in a new culture. More than any other study abroad program, we provide you with the support you need, from pre departure planning to on-site assistance abroad. We call it IFSA-Butler 360° of support. You can choose from Argentina, Australia, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Cuba, England, Mexico, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Scotland, Spain, summer programs, and internships.

International Summer University of Nice, France -- Engage yourself in an intensive French language course for 23 days. Classes at the International Summer University of Nice are taught by teachers who hold degrees in French as a Foreign Language. All levels are accepted, including beginners. At the end of each session, all students will receive a level certificate corresponding to the European standard. All courses are transferable to Muskingum.

University of Virginia Hispanic Studies Program -- The University of Virginia Hispanic Studies in Valencia, Spain program is an enriching and comprehensive experience for the student interested in becoming well-versed in Spanish and Latin American culture and languages.

International Summer University, Lüneburg, Germany -- Universität Lüneburg, located in beautiful Lüneburg, Germany, offers an International Summer University where students can study Intensive German for Beginners, Contemporary German Literature, German for International Business, and The Germans - Culture and Society. The program also offers several extracurricular and leisure activities to help you experience typical German life. The program starts in mid-July and ends in mid-August.

USAC (University Studies Abroad Consortium) -- Established in 1982, the University Studies Abroad Consortium has assisted thousands of students in studying abroad and has grown to include 37 programs in 25 countries. From flagship programs in northern Spain to the newest program in India, USAC offers a unique and challenging experience abroad. Go for just a month, a semester, or stay for a year. The opportunities are endless! Choose from programs in Australia, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Ghana, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Thailand.
