Information & Services for Current
It sometimes can be difficult and frustrating to navigate the
paperwork that is required in the United States. See the links
on the right for the areas where most students need assistance.
The Program Calendar section
lists all the international events, the excursions and deadlines,
and the airport shuttle schedule.
There are many ways to get involved on campus, various clubs and organizations (including
the World Vision Club), intramurals, Center
Board, and other campus
events. There is an International House on campus, located
at 127 Lakeside.
International Friendships, Inc. is a community family program where students can be matched up with a local, American family. Each family goes through a federal background check as well as cross-cultural and diversity training. Contact Valerie Smith for more information or to receive an application to join.
**NEEDED: STUDENT DRIVERS**
We are looking to hire 3-4 more student drivers to help in all areas of Student Affairs but the majority of the driving responsibilities will fall under International Student Services. You must be willing and able to go through the 3+ hour driving training through University Police in order to be covered by the university insurance policy and also hold a valid state driver's license. Students hired will be contacted about driving opportunities and can select which of the available dates/times they would like to drive. Drivers will be asked to come in early and stay late from semester breaks but will be permitted to live in their university room at that time if applicable.
TO APPLY- Send an email to Valerie Smith (firstname.lastname@example.org) and let her know that you are interested and she will follow-up with you.
