International Excursions
Most international students do not have a car and there is a lot
to see beyond Muskingum's campus! In order to help you experience
more of life in the United States, the International Student Services
Office provides programs off campus. Make sure you pay attention
to the sign-up deadlines for each trip. Some trips may require a
deposit. See Valerie in
the TOC 216 for more information.
Spring 2012
Welcome to Muskingum University! We are so happy that you are here and we are excited to help you with our services at Muskingum. The International Student Services department will provide fun trips this semester as well as rides to the Social Security Office.
Trips
February 11, 2012. Ski Trip to Seven Springs
Leave campus 7am, arrive back on campus around 9:30pm. Signup on OrgSync, $30 deposit required.

March 24, 2012. Easton Shopping and Fort Rapids Indoor Water Park Trip
Leave campus 9am, arrive back on campus around 8pm, $20 deposit required.
Easton Town Center
Fort Rapids Waterpark
April 4-6, 2012. Chicago Trip
Take the bus overnight on the 4th, have all day (April 5th) in Chicago to do what you want, ride the bus back that evening and arrive on campus the morning of the 6th. There are no classes April 5-8th. $40 deposit required. Signup will close early to open up to the entire campus community to make sure the bus is full.
Directions for these trips: Please go on Orgsync and go to the International Student Services page. Once you get there click on the FORMS tab and look for the trips. The trips will be up on Orgsync 2-3 weeks prior to departure. After you sign up for a trip on Orgsync you will still need to pay for the trip to Danny Lee (TOC 217A) at least 24 hours before the trip.
Social Security Office Trips
The International Student Services office will provide two days of each month to take students to the Social Security Office for those who need to get a Social Security Number. To sign up for these trips please go to Orgsync and under the group International Student Services please click on FORMS. On the FORMS page there will be a sign up sheet that says Rides to Social Security Office and a date next to it. There will only be two days that someone from the International Student Services office will take students to the Social Security Office and if you are not able to go on those days, please find a ride from a friend or someone else you know. Thank you.
