Maintaining Status for F-1 & J-1 Students
When you signed your I-20 or DS-2019, you agreed to abide by the rules on page two of that document. Please read your I-20 or DS-2019 carefully. Although the International Programs Staff is a resource for you to help maintain your status, legally it is your responsibility to know the rules and regulations that govern status, and ultimate accountability lies solely with you.
