Graduate Assistant in Athletics for Softball
Serve as an assistant softball coach to aid the head coach in all designated areas. Also serve as fall sport game manager to assist the Director of Athletics, Senior Women's Administrator, and various head coaches with home game administrative responsiblities.
Undergraduate degree required, preferably in education. Strong collegiate background in softball, operate under the philosophy and guildelines of the OAC & NCAA, good communication and telephone skills.

Graduate Assistant in Athletics for Football
Muskingum University invites applications for a one-year with a one-year renewable contract as a graduate assistant coach in Football. The position is under the direct supervision of the Director of Athletics and the Head Coach in Football. Duties include serving as an assistant footbal coach to aid the head coach in all designated areas. Also serves as the spring sport manager to assist the Director of Athletics and various head coaches in home game administrative responsibilities.

This is a ten-month appointment which begins August 1, 2012. Position includes graduate tuition remission for Muskingum University, monthly stipend, room, and board. Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree and qualify for admission into Muskingum’s graduate program.

Assistant Defensive Football Coach, Department Strength & Conditioning Coach, and Lecturer in Health Science Department
Muskingum University invites applications for a full-time (10 month) position within the Department of Athletics beginning August 1, 2012. As an Assistant Football Coach, the successful candidate will be responsible for position coaching on the defensive side of the field, film breakdowns, recruiting, game preparation, practice schedules, retention of our current student-athletes, and any other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach. As the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Department of Athletics, the successful candidate will maintain the weight room, evaluate all programs and our student-athletes, design sport specific programs, oversee and conduct workouts, keep proper records, and provide expertise to all coaches and student-athletes. As a Lecturer in the Health Science Department, the successful candidate will teach a "Priniciples of Strength and Conditioning" class.
Intercollegiate experience in football is a must. A Master's Degree is required in Health, Physical Education, Exercise Science, or a related field. The successful candidate must hold a certification in Strength and Conditioning from a nationally recognized certification program.

Assistant Women's Basketball & Head Women's Golf Coach
Muskingum University is now accepting applications in the department of intercollegiate athletics for a combined full-time position as Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach and Head Women’s Golf Coach. As the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach, the successful candidate is responsible for on-floor coaching, film breakdowns, recruiting, game preparation, practice schedules, coach the junior varsity team, retention of our current student/athletes, and other duties as assigned by the head women’s basketball coach. As the Head Women’s Golf Coach, the successful candidate is responsible for maintenance of the women’s golf program, recruiting, retention, equipment, inventory, practice schedules, scheduling, travel arrangements, and other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics. This position will also have the additional duties of teaching within the Health and Physical Education Department.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree is required; Master’s Degree is preferred. Must have coaching experience.
Candidates should possess a strong commitment to motivate, teach, counsel, and recruit student/athletes within the guidelines of the NCAA and the Ohio Athletic Conference.
