MAE: Intervention Specialist: Mild to Moderate, ages 5-21
Intervention Specialist: Mild to Moderate, ages 5-21, is a multi-age, special education licensure program that prepares individuals to teach students with mild to moderate needs. Three options are available in the program:
- (49-52 credit hours) For students with an elementary education certificate or early childhood license
- (53-58 credit hours) For students with a middle childhood license
- (56-58 credit hours) For students with a secondary or any k-12 certificate, or any adolescent/young adult or multi-age license

For experienced teachers who are currently teaching special education with temporary certification, or for experienced teachers who teach general education but DESIRE to earn the IS:M/M license
