Undergraduate Scholarships & Awards of Circumstance
Academic Scholarships
An initial academic scholarship is awarded at the time a qualified student is accepted for admission to Muskingum.
The base scholarship is determined by the high school record, curriculum and ACT/SAT scores.
Performance in the Academic Scholarship Program can possibly enhance, but not decrease, the amount of
the initial scholarship. Program dates for first -year students entering in Fall 2012 are January 28, February 4,
or February 11, 2012. Participation in the Program is required to be considered for the prestigious full-tuition
John Glenn Scholarship.
Transfer students are considered for academic scholarships based on previous college work and, in some cases,
the secondary school record. Transfer students may also apply for Science Division Scholarships and Performance
Scholarships, but are not eligible to participate in the Academic Scholarship Program.
Science Division Scholarships $1,000-$2,000 per year
and Choose Ohio First (STEM) Scholarships $2,000-$3,000 per year

A separate application is required.
