University Financial Information
Muskingum University is a private not-for-profit institution formed as an Ohio corporation. It is exempt from income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
As is required for not-for-profits, the University files an annual information return, Form 990, with the Internal Revenue Service. This form is available for public inspection in the Business Office, located in room 125 of Montgomery Hall on the University campus. Copies of this form will be made available upon request in writing to: Muskingum University, Business Office, 163 Stormont Street, New Concord, OH 43762-1199 or via e-mail at busoffice@muskingum.edu.
Costs for copies are $1.00 for the 1st page and 15¢ for each additional page plus the cost of actual postage and must be received before the information is sent. The 990 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010 is 51 pages plus 6 for the 990-T, or $9.40. Priority mail would cost $6.20.
