Halko named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, May 19, 2010 - Muskingum University junior Chip Halko was honored by the Ohio Athletic Conference by being named Academic All-OAC.
Halko, a biology/pre-medicine major from Grove City, Ohio, notched 16 wins on the mat - including four by fall this past season. He led Muskingum at the OAC Championships with a fourth place finish, which included upset wins against two-seed Phillip Payne of Baldwin-Wallace College and four-seed TJ Armone of Mount Union College.
This marks the second straight year that Halko has garnered
academic all-league honors.
